The story

Mildura EV Chargers exists because EV uptake across the Sunraysia is going one way only, and the customers we already serve through Next Electrical Solutions kept asking about chargers. Rather than treat EV as a side service, we built a dedicated brand around it — so the people who do your EV install actually specialise in EV, not solar with an EV bolt-on.

We're registered as a Next Electrical Solutions business — same ABN, same insurance, same team of seven on the tools (plus a school-based apprentice coming through). Operations are run by our manager Jade Ramage. I'm the owner and managing director — Tybias Smith — and I came up through the trade as a sparky before stepping into the business side.

Why a separate brand for EV?

Two reasons. First, focus — EV chargers are a fast-moving product category and we wanted a team and a website that lives and breathes it, rather than treating it as one item on a long electrical services list. Second, clarity for customers — when you're searching for an EV installer you want to see an EV installer, not a general sparky.
